PAMIS for dioceses and/or parishes, comprises a people database connected to the diocesan/parish organisation, groups, projects, events and sacramental programmes. Parish ministry and other curia, volunteer roles can be assigned to people creating in effect an on-screen diocesan or parish directory.

1.7 The PAMIS system has comprehensive search and reporting capabilities; an online, secure document library to hold standard parish document and forms; Intranet messaging to support teamwork and extensive reporting with export to spreadsheets and/or labels. In addition emailing facilities are available for the parish newsletter and the promulgation of routine information such as rotas. A mapping system has been including to show on a map the locality and disposition of parishioners – specifically requested by clergy to aid their pastoral work.
